joelpresmyk8 Report post Posted December 27, 2013 Sorry if this is a dumb question but if it's going to a lottery, why does it mention the doors opening at a certain time and date?
Redman Report post Posted December 27, 2013 The way i read it the lottery is you still have to there to claim your tag once its been drawn in the lottery.... if your not it goes onto the next person.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted December 27, 2013 Not all the hunts will be in the lottery. Look a the lottery application form to see which hunts will be lottery. I assume that the other hunts will be available for sale at the dept on Feb 3.
Apache7mm Report post Posted December 27, 2013 Calls will be made to successful applicants that day and then it'll be up to them if they want to take the hunt(2nd or 3rd choice may not be desired by some hunters, alternates will be drawn for this purpose) and may purchase thereafter. Up to 3 hunters can apply on a single ticket(separate app fees). One entry per person per hunt, so up to 3 can apply for JAN hunts one time and the same 3 or individual can apply for NOV hunts as well. The lottery uses the same format as the Tribal Trophy Elk drawing. DAN
AZHUNTER05 Report post Posted December 27, 2013 What are the tag fees for the draw?
kazpilot25 Report post Posted December 27, 2013 $2000 to $3500 for January $1200 to $1500 for November A little too rich for my blood.
Big Browns Report post Posted December 27, 2013 When you consider the cost of an out of state hunt, the $1200-1500 isn't to bad. The first year will probably be the best draw odds.

Apache7mm Report post Posted December 27, 2013 All tag prices are the same as previous years. Once drawn and accept your hunt, you will have 2 weeks to purchase your tag(s), if not purchased by deadline the tag(s) will go to alternate(s) accordingly.
