eagarcoues Report post Posted December 19, 2013 Here is my ram that I took in 15D N this last week I'm still grinning, I cant believe that it is over after waiting for so long to get the tag and the 6 months of preparation. Man but it was the time of my life, I was able to hunt with my son and very good friend and the two guys that I met for the first time at the sheep clinic and was able to share sheep camp with them and Mike you need to post your story and pictures! what a ram. I had every intentions on using my bow but I went over to the dark side with a gun not like awesome Mike and his bow, But I wouldn't of changed anything. I used my father in laws rifle and my son only had a few more days to hunt and Jim only had the weekend to hunt. I m so thankful that they were all there It was a long stock and longer shot and longest pack out ever in the dark we glassed up over 12 rams that Saturday morning before I took the shot. Game and Fish gross green scored at 170 and net 169.6 and aged him at 9 years old he has a lot of character with a very beat up nose from fighting I would also like to thank Fred Ashurst and his wife Mary for putting up with all of us this season He has had 5 of the 12 tags in 15D this season stay in his garage one of the best guys I have met in a long time. So again I say thanks to everybody that I met at the sheep clinic and the fellows I have talked to on this site and to my son Kolby, hunting buddy Jim,new friends Mike and Drew and to my wife who has put up with me and my sheep on the brain for the last 6 month I love you Q. I have a whole new appreciation of sheep hunting. Great ram Jeff and Kolby your a billy goat in your own right. It was great meeting Mike and Drew I hope Mikes ankle healed up ok he rolled it hard on the way out. Now I am hooked I only wish I had been putting in all those years so now i have to pray for the luck of the draw and hope to get a sheep of my own.
