300WSM factory ammo

I currently use the Winchester Super Elite Xp3 180 grain for elk but the are becoming more and more difficult to find. I love the performance but as I mentioned hard to find and a little pricy but more so hard to find unless you can find a place that back ordered for 6 months.

 

I'm about to start hunting Texas whitetail and am looking for suggestions on a 165 grain that's versatile for deer and elk so I don't have to sight in for each species. I haven't gotten into reloading, will someday but not enough spare time yet.

 

Any suggestions are appreciate.

165 is harder to get then 180

I love the results I get with Federal Fusion 165 gr.. 230 yds out to 360 yds. 2 coues and one muley. none ever took a step.

there are a lot fo good ones...... a factory load with a 168 CBT bullet is what i would use.

Try And Find Something From 150-168 From Barnes

i'll try the HSM 168 grain berger vld, those really good bullets if you don't reload.

* hornady superformance 180gr

* hornady custom 150gr sst, 180gr sst

* federal premium 180gr

* federal premium 165gr

* Barnes vortex tsx 165gr, 180gr

* HSM berger 168gr

 

My gun shot all well, but really liked the HSM and Barnes the best. Hornady superformance the least.
