EAS Report post Posted December 17, 2013 Well, I pulled one of my trail cams and to my surprise I have a lot of predators coming in. I have pics of a bear, 2 mtn lions, a few bobcat, fox, skunks, javelina, and deer. The lion came by about once a week for the last 30 days, my question is do you guys think the lions live close by, and I'm thinking to try calling to get them to come in when I’m there next week...? Or do you think they just cruse around and I got lucky to see them? it's in a deep canyon, where 3 canyons meet together... hard area to get to, and its by foot only for a few miles. whats my best attempt to tag this lion? EAS Report post Posted December 29, 2013 I was out calling today, figured the afternoons and evenings are my best bet..?.. I found fresh soft scat and some coues running around, but im not sure on a few things... like what call sound works best, and when do lions go into heat? Im not sure if the female heat calls should be used, or distress fawn rabbit pig etc...
