makaio333 Report post Posted December 16, 2013 This is a Browning A5 made in 1928 in 12 ga. Good shape for how old it is, made in Belgium. There are a couple cracks in the forearm but do not effect functionality and the butt plate is not original. Gun is 80-85% Asking 385 obo. Located in Thatcher, AZ. Little Creek Calls Report post Posted December 16, 2013 First auto loading shotgun and in production until the 90’s. Browning just rereleased the A5. Jace Robertson shoots an A5 in some Duck dynasty shows and in a few commercials. Great looking classic gun.

makaio333 Report post Posted December 17, 2013 Got it back from gunsmith Gila Outdoor uses and he told me he considered it 80-85% but I'm no gunsmith. It's 85 years old but still functions and shoots well. Any interest shoot me a message. I'm open to any offers or even trades. Thank for looking! Sorry forgot to put it is a 12 ga. AZbowhntr Report post Posted December 17, 2013 How were you able to date the shot gun? I am curious because I have one that I got from my grandpa from when he went on a mission to England and traveled Europe afterwards for a month and brought his home with him. I have tried to date it but everything I have looked at says they don't have records from before WWII because they were lost during the war. Thanks
