Guest Ernesto C Report post Posted November 18, 2006 I have harvested about 8 javelina with 22 Win.Mag. Also several with my 222 Rem. A 22 Mag. is good but you will have to keep shots under 150 yards. 222 Rem. 223 Rem. and a 22-250 are excellent choices too. If you use anything bigger than this you will ruin lots of meat at least you aim for a head shot. Also if you are considering to mount one you may ruin the hide......if you want to enter one on the Boone and Crocket club then the skull will not be good so................you decide but above all remember........Aim for the vitals Ernesto C Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
