A big thank you to Sir Royal,

Recommended Posts

My son and I received 2 of the 25 Muzzleloader tags for unit 10 this November. I started the usual checks to see what friends could help. My friends all had other engagements and it seemed we were doing it alone.

Sir Royal whom I met on CouesWhitetail said he would like to help glassing. I was caught off balance. Here is a person I only know through a forum offering to help people he does not know. He would not take any fuel money or let me purchase his Big Bo permit.

Sir Royal arrives for the hunt and slept outside on a cot. I was really shocked to learn when we finally met in person he was away from his family on his birthday. This man treated my family and I as if we had known each other for years. He is truly a special person.

On the first day of the hunt we were on bulls but could not close the deal. We hunted hard and had a blast. On the 2nd day I was fortunate enough to harvest a bull with the help of Sir Royal.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Josiah Scott, aka Sir Royal for all of his help and friendship. I would also like to thank his family for allowing him to get away on his birthday.

Josiah if I can be of help in a future hunt please don’t hesitate to call. Draw a tag next year and I will be on the glass.

Tina, Wes and I would like to say thank you. It was truly a pleasure hunting with you.

Tim Smith,

Thank you, Tim you made my week !

Its been a tough one! You see I lost my Beautiful Momma this week on Monday! She was only 69.

I was on the Late Kiabab 12 AW for 10 days helping an uncle on what was the 8th hunt of the year helping others! . I came home on Dec 1st spent 8 hours with my wife and children and then drove to Tucson for a MY coues deer hunt the first one for myself all year.

A very good friend of mine put me right where the bucks were and there was a very nice 100 inch buck! Gotta a call, your mom was rushed to the hospital. I knew I wouldn't have time to hunt the big one so I shot a Meat buck at 500 yds and headed for home,. Mom passed Dec 9th. Hug your Mom and Give her a kiss you never know when its going to be the last!

To all those that have PM' me thru the year . I did my best to help you and all the while wanting to be there with you especially those with kids . I just cant do it all! Hunting is my passion and the Good Lord has blessed it and the people that I am honored to take.
