creed Report post Posted December 7, 2013 I've been to several places trying to buy a 2014 OTC deer tag. Same story every place I have been......can't sell them until Jan.1, 2014. Called the Phoenix G&F office and the lady in the license department said if I wanted to come into the office they could generate one off of the computer but they aren't available any other way right now. She said it was due to the restructuring of the licenses. I have a hunt scheduled for Jan. 1 and don't want to be standing in line to buy a freakin' deer tag so I guess I will drive to the Carefree office Monday. There has to be a better way of managing things than this.

gotcoues Report post Posted December 7, 2013 I've already purchased 2014 archery & lion at the Tucson office. I have to go in for the family license deal anyway before the javelina draw to get our licenses. I can see how that could be an inconvenience for someone w/o a local office for sure. creed Report post Posted December 10, 2013 OK, went up to the Carefree office and bought a 2014 deer and lion tag. It was pretty painless. They were helping a couple of other guys at the booths and one customer service rep was waiting for me There still should be a better way of handling things than this. I am not a big bitcher when it comes to the Dept but it sucks to drive 80 miles one way to get a deer tag.
