tjhunt2 Report post Posted December 6, 2013 I just wanted to share a few hunts I was fortunate enough to be part of this past couple months. Fist one was Keith's, aka kidso, wife's cow hunt. He already posted his hunt but I wanted to share a little more. I called Keith and ask if I could be of any help. Boy was happy when he said I could tag along. I had lots of vacation just burning a hole in my pocket and I told Keith I would set camp up a couple days early only to find someone beat me to his spot. The hunters in his spot were going to put up a tree stand where Keith had a blind already in place. After talking with them they assured me they would look elsewhere. Since Keith already posted the story I won't repeat but thought it was worth sharing again the generosity Keith and Renata showed by leaving their blind in place for the hunter who was already camped there. Not only did Renata killed her first ever big game so did the lady in that camp and both from Keith's blind. Awesome! Here are a few more pics from Renata's hunt. Renata showed exceptional experience lacking of most beginners. Good mentoring Keith. One of my favorite pics I now have a pair of those blue camo, NOT! Keith and Renata wasn't leaving any meat for the critters I have no pictures from my wt hunt in 24B since I missed broadside at 200yrds opening morning. I did have a great time with friends on this hunt. We all went home empty handed. Now it's Nov and my long time friend, Mark Hullinger, drew a buffalo hunt after 35 yrs of putting in. This will be the beginning of my 3 weeks vacation since it is going to run in to my archery 22N bull tag. My truck breaks down on wedn. just as I was leaving town. After 4 hrs of not fixing it I call a garage and they can't get to it for a couple days I tell them I need to get out of town by tomorrow for my buddy's buffalo hunt. The guy I was talking to told me he had drawn a spring buffalo hunt and he would get me on the road first thing in the morning. I pick up my truck and pull in to my elk camp by dark and set the alarm for 2:30 am so I can meet Mark at Raymond ranch by daylight. It all went well and here are a few pictures to share. 35 yrs of waiting It was a real pleasure to share this hunt with Mark Mark's future son-in-law, Jim, was greatly appreciated with lending a hand The quad trailer was a blessing for sure This is the same place I hung mind back in 1977. Thanks to azgfd for the use of the skinning barn. Thanks for letting me be part of your hunt. TJ
