Unit 10 Cow Hunt Early Dec.

My son and I are heading up to unit 10 for the Dec. 5 cow hunt. We were able to get a couple of weekend scouting trips in earlier in the year. But now with snow I understand the elk move out of areas we scouted and are hard to find. Has anyone recently been up there and can lend us a little insight about where we could go now?

I hunted the MZ hunt and was up helping a friend on the late bull hunt. We located lots of elk. We saw herds from 8-10 to 30+ at a time. We spent most of our time on the Big Bo so you will have to purchase a permit. We did get checked as soon as we arrived. I would recommend getting up high on a ridge and glass all day. We saw elk feeding at 2:30 in the afternoon this Saturday. I would suggest Rodgers, Big Chief area and Bushy. I hope that helps.
