W.O.T Report post Posted December 2, 2013 Maybe Im getting old but its almost more fun to go out and help other hunters glass up & tag their big game and share in their success & excitement. One of my sons & I went out this weekend and helped glass up this huge 2x3 with Johnny, a good family friend of ours. Johnny had helped another hunter the day before kill that hunters 1st coues & now it was Johnnys turn. We found these 2 around 3pm and called Johnny over to decide which one he wanted to shoot. The 2 deep cuts in front of us kept us from getting closer. He chose the one on the right, I thought that was a good choice. He got set-up and let his shot rip. We watched as the vapor trail rainbowed right to the deer and it dropped right there. 782 yards.
