oz31p Report post Posted December 1, 2013 twice now ive wrote a nice detailed acount of my summer scouting and scouting 2days early solo while missing thanksgiving with my family to kill a bull that im damm proud of then hit the wrong button and lost it. im not doing it again. i watched this bull wensday morning thursday morning and thursday after noon putting him to bed. at 400y my first shot was at first lite just light enough to make sure it was him. my first shot my spotter though i hit him good but he was still standing so i chambered another in my t/c and send anouther. this time he dropped in his tracks. turns out my first shot hit him in the antler between his g2 and g3. i cant thank kevin(shedhunderaz) and jason(averagejoe) enough . between showing me around the unit last year and helping me pack out for 9hr this year with with out them id either be still out hunting struggling to turn up a bull or on my 6th solo pack out trip to the quad. either way im gratful my bull is with dale at wild heritage, the meat is at the butcher and i am home. he is a clean symmetrical unbroken 6x6. this is my bull thursday after noon while normal people were eating thanksgiving dinner

Shedhunteraz Report post Posted December 1, 2013 Well captain ADD only you could write a story twice and hit the wrong button twice. That's why they make Word. Anyways, man that was fun. You are a great friend and a great hunter sportsman. You did all the work finding the one you wanted reguardless of what was said. First one is always the sweetest buddy. The joy on your face was just priceless, I am so very proud you. You pushed us all and it was great. Cant wait till next year. Double archery take down.
