Norteno Report post Posted November 26, 2013 I'll be heading down to 35a next week for my coues hunt. Does anyone know how cell phone reception is at Parker Canyon Lake or in 35a in general. The rules are in my house for me to go hunting are I need to be accessible and check in every night. We'll be camping at the lake. I have AT&T.
rkv09 Report post Posted November 26, 2013 If your staying near the lake the next road east of the lake, south lake rd, I get reception for Att. It's spotty on the back side for all carriers but verizon seems to be the best. If you head south into the flats I always get service or up on a hill.
bigorange Report post Posted November 26, 2013 Decent Verizon signal all around there...you'll probably be okay with ATT.
Willyhunts2 Report post Posted November 27, 2013 We will be camped at the lake to. I have verizon and have service all around the lake bit not sure with AT&T. I have very spotty service the more east I head. North and north west of lake I seem to have decent service but normally end up dropping a call after a few minutes. If you don't have service at the lake find a silver tundra with a cwt sticker on back window and you can use mine.
az_shooter Report post Posted November 27, 2013 In the lower campground at the first bathroom building next to the trash can on the north side of the building I usually get enough service to make a call. That's with verizon so I don't know about ATT but if you can't find service you can get it for sure if you drive north on 83 to the top of the hill after the second set of switch backs.
