Anyone ever get a blind stolen? I was thinking of possibly leaving one out for the archery season. Sucks that I am even asking this question, haha.

They get stolen quite often and the Forest Service will take them after 72 hours. I don't have or use one but it seems like most of them are now the popup kind and can be set up in a couple of minutes.

Maybe, I would be better off just making one.

+1000 on natural blinds. Takes a little sweat equity but it's permanent and nobody steals them.

I think this is what I am going to do, so I don't have to worry about someone stealing one.

Plus it will smell like dead timber and you can save $$$ by not having to spray it with scent away. A bow saw and good pruners cost around $50 total. Cheapest pop up blinds are $60 and up.

Plus you never know who else will get some use out of it. I found out this year that during the early rifle whitetail season a man helped his special needs son kill a buck out of a blind I built in 2012.
