bullwidgeon Report post Posted November 11, 2006 I was supposed to go help my buddy Serna tomorrow morning for the next 4 days on his deer hunt. He helped me get my archery bull this year. He called this morning, apparently he got this one right after sunrise this morning at 330 yards with his new Tikka .270 WSM. He glassed it up yesterday while scouting and decided if he saw nothing better that afternoon he would try for it this morning. Sometimes a plan comes together. Not a bad one for his 2nd coues. I told him to hold out for a bigger one next year We cleaned house down South, they filled 3 tags and missed a good one in the process. The 3 we got were burro bucks, nothing big but it was a ton of fun and good to start whacking deer and stop passing on them after my Catalina hunt this year... Bret M.
