elkman Report post Posted November 27, 2013 For those who hunt whitetail and have never glassed up a lion. The way i see lions on a regular basis while hunting is to glass periodically for them in the spots that you usually see lions "rocks and cliffs" Mid morning when i am not seeing deer anymore i switch my focus to lions. I glass for them the same way i look for whitetail but just in the rocks and nasty cliff areas. Just my method but it works for me. I have killed 8 lions spot and stock all during whitetail hunts.
