AZP&Y Report post Posted November 9, 2006 Ok , book me on the EL GIGANTE" COUES WHITETAIL HUNT THIS HUNT IS FOR THE SERIOUS HUNTER TO SHOOT A TRUE MONSTER COUES BUCK. BUCKS LIKE THESE ARE FAR AND FEW BETWEEN! 130-144 GROSS B&C CLASS TROPHY COUES WHITETAIL BUCK $25,500 U.S. (ALL INCLUSIVE HUNT). 50% DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO BOOK DESIRED HUNT. $2,500 U.S. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT Uhhh, I don't have $25,500 guess I'll take my chances with my $19.50 cent Az December tag . I wonder how high the fence has to be to keep the coues "in" ? I bet those deer can jump a good 6-8 feet no problem.. AzP&Y
DesertBull Report post Posted November 9, 2006 I read an article recently that said many many ranches in Mexico are turning to high fence. Not only that, a lot of them are starting to use high rack vehicle so the guides can can drive around all day looking for big bucks and the fatties can shoot them right from the truck. Mostly desert mule deer hunts, but I am sure that the Coues hunts are being conducted the same way. Fricken sad if you ask me. Would not be happy if I paid $25,000 for a road hunt. sgha Report post Posted November 9, 2006 I hate to see the hunting of the elusive deer dragged down to such proportions. Afterall the allure of hunting coues whitetail is 99% trying to find the little jerks! It does go to show however what genetics and good feed can do for antler growth that's for sure! crazyaboutcoues Report post Posted November 9, 2006 Why is there a link to Coueswhitetail.com on there website? Amanda tell me your not a sponsor.
missedagain Report post Posted November 9, 2006 I love the pictures with the chain link in the back ground! If I was one of those guys with their picture on a website like that I think I would sue for defamation of character!
COUESAZ Report post Posted November 9, 2006 It is a shame to see those deer locked up behind a gate. I am sure amanda is not a suporter of this site or the way they run there operation. It sure is strange how some of those bucks start to pass on the freak hornes when they are locked up and implanted like they are.
GRONG Report post Posted November 10, 2006 Nice antlers!!!!!! WOW!
GTT Report post Posted November 10, 2006 None of the bucks off that ranch will be eligible for the record book right? If they are they shouldn't be. It's all about the (hunt) to me...Score is just a bonus. Paying for a farm raised deer in an enclosed area doesn't appeal to me at all. What happened to fair chase? az4life Report post Posted November 10, 2006 I saw the CWT sponsor logo on the site also and was surprised. The chain link fence would look pretty good in a background or even on your mount if you ask me. Get Real!
DEERSLAM Report post Posted November 10, 2006 Unreal I guess it was just a matter of time And as far as the link to CW.com I bet Amanda doesn't even know. There is also a link to the Boone & Crockett web site and we all know how they feel about high fence operations.
Spot Report post Posted November 10, 2006 What a disservice to such a majestic animal.
azryan Report post Posted November 10, 2006 one of the most messed up things i have ever seen......those deer that get shot out of there better not go in the record books...im sure they wont....im gonna call them and email them and let them know how messed up they are for doing that......only if we could close them down
bullwidgeon Report post Posted November 10, 2006 I wouldn't be suprised if there are a ton of those operations down there. There is a bajillion of them up here for everything from elk to whitetail and half the animals native to Africa. I know there are a bunch of desert sheep high fence operations down there. Shooting stuff at the petting zoo rocks, just ask 50% of the goofballs you see at any SCI convention. It seems like a ton of the vendors there offer canned hunts... Bret M.
