Kuiu Rain Gear - have questions regarding men's sizing

My husband is getting new rain gear for Christmas and I'd like to get the sizes right the first time. I bought med/med for me and I've been thrilled with mine. Typically he wears large bottoms and XL or 2XL tops (he has long arms). He's 6' 190 lbs.

 

Mostly I'm concerned about the jacket sizing and not sure which size to get to accommodate his arms and multiple layers underneath. If anyone here can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I would go the larger of the two for two reasons. One is layering, and being able to move in general. Two is with the long arms, and probably long torso, the lower back being exposed and catching the wind.

I'm 6'2" 190 and I would most likely buy the Med. pants (usually 34-36) and XL top. I also have long arms. I don't own the Kuiu gear but I've heard it's awesome.

Kuiu is awesome gear! You can't go wrong on awesome rainwear.

Get his measurements and call kuiu. They're great to deal with. Im 5'11 / 195 and a large fits me great. Its a bit long in the arms, but i have short arms. Kuiu has extended back length built in so no need to order a size bigger for length to cover your lower back.
