buffhunter Report post Posted November 12, 2013 />i've always been fascinated by oneida bows. are they still in business? Yes they are and make some real nice machined aluminum risers but man they are super pricey. ..
Scooter Report post Posted November 12, 2013 I hunted for over 10 years using an Oneida Black Eagle and I wish that I had never switched. They are just absolutely awesome machines. Very smooth draw, fast, and forgiving. The only negative thing I can say is that they are loud and they tend to work and stay in tune better with heavier arrows. I shot 27" (equipped with an overdraw) Easton Super Slam xx78 2314's with feathers and 125gr heads. I hope you sell it to someone who will appreciate it!
yorick1 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 Thanks for the kind words. I have friends that shoot Oneidas cuz they want to shoot fingers or instinctive, yet still have some speed advantage over traditional bows. Thats the same reason that they are popular for bow fishing; which is typicaly shot fingers.
