Curtis Reed Report post Posted November 11, 2013 Yeah that sucks... are you sure it was stolen and not a bear? I read a recent story on here where someone found a camera that a bear ripped off a tree and got it back to the owner. The owner assumed that it was stolen when it wasnt... My buddy had one stolen (lock was cut). I hate thieves too!
Adicted Report post Posted November 11, 2013 Camera was 12 ft off the ground about 12 in wide. Not a bear

Yuma Archer Report post Posted November 11, 2013 Had one stolen as well. Could be a tree hugger! Hippies are thick in 6b. I have the late rifle
StickFlicker Report post Posted November 12, 2013 I had one come up missing in 6B this year as well.
GotBowAz Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Possibly forest service?? They will take them if they find them and if they have been left for over 72 hours. Got to do better jobs hiding them. If it was up a tree like the OP said and there was no limbs to get to it someone went to a lot of work to get it, possibly either a scum bag or forest service, not a bear. Most times mine are off the ground and extremely hard to get to without either a climber tree stand or with lineman equipment for climbing poles. It stinks to have to go to all that work and I think forest service are also being jerks IMO if they are taking them also. Sorry man, sure hope your son gets his elk! Willyhunts2 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Ya that sucks. Someone jacked an sd card of mine in 6b this year. Good luck to your son on his hunt!
MDH Report post Posted November 12, 2013 We had an sd card stolen out of our camera in unit 1. They took a hammer to the lock but left our camera. We were averaging almost 6000 pics a week
DBArcher Report post Posted November 12, 2013 i lost both a camera and an sd card out of another cam in 6b this yea before my early archery bull hunt, i have a weird feeling it was thieves of the hippie kind
IA Born Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Last year, I had the local sheep herder in 6B mess with a camera of mine (opened the box and turned it off). I locked it to the tree and locked the case and he ended up leaving it alone. He's notorious for messing with cameras. Sorry it was stolen!
