Guest oneshot Report post Posted November 10, 2013 As my father was home the last week of his life, he asked me find a spot in the woods to place his ashes. I carryed stones from a stone wall he built years ago to the base of one of his earlyest and favorite tree-stands and built this on our land in NY... He didnt ask where, he just said " I know you picked a great spot" I added some deer heads, and the day I place his ashes here, I was joined by a couple of life-long friends and their sons. We said our Good-Byes and left a few things, his favorite pipe and tobacco, the tip of an arrow from his last bow kill, some rifle and shotgun shells, it seemed a fitting way to show our respect for someone that made us the Men and Hunters we are today...
