Desert Ducks

We had some luck opening morning and then again this week jump shooting a tank. We need some good storms up north to drive more ducks this way.

good day of hunting!! that second picture looks like your not far from my place.

The first picture was opening day on Picacho when it had water and half of Phoenix there. The others were shot this past week on a small tank south of Tucson, the picture was taken later after I checked a few more tanks without any luck.

I won't give away your spot, I know the mountains in the 2nd pic I think, and that post the birds are on haha!

Second pic looks like a Mexican or black duck pair. Notice the yellow bill on the drake and the orange bill with black speckling on the hen. Pretty cool if that's what they are!
