Just curious what grain arrow you all use. I have not stepped into the world of carbon yet and am getting ready for the upcoming archery deer hunt. I am also fairly new to archery info. For my broadheads, I am using a 100 grain fixed 3 blade.

My PSE Brute X is pushing a 416 grain Swhacker tipped arrow at around 300 fps. My heads are the 1.75 inch 100 grain Swhacker, best mech. head out there!

I shoot a 300 spine gold tip Kinetic Pro with 100gn 2" Swhackers at 475grains at 304fps. Little smaller diameter shaft than standard 5/16 for better penetration. I've got a pass through on every thing I've shot since going to this setup. There's a ton of great arrows out there just find the one that suits your needs the best!

489gr Total weight, gold tip kinetic XT arrows with 125gr slik trik magnum brodheads. I like the way a heavier arrow flys and they pack a helluva punch. They're shooting right at 286fps out of my Bowtech experience, 68lb pull and 30.5" draw.

One setup is the best way to go, unless you are chasing African HUGH game. You wont be waisting time changing your setup, just practicing.

I shoot an arrow that's around 420gr. That's a Cabela's Carbon Hunter 65/80 at 29" with 2" XPV (Blazer) vanes and a NAP Killzone Trophy Tip.

Buddy, you gotta go carbon- it truly is a better mouse trap.
