Well Deserved Buck

Recommended Posts

Definitely not prepared to read this story this morning. I am very sorry for the loss of your nephew and such a tragic loss for your whole extended family. It brought tears to read this story.

That's a great deer and hopefully it will be a step to find a way to cope with loss of his son and somehow move on.

I can't even imagine how painful this must be. God Bless and may Big Guns, Gunner rest in piece.

+1 I couldn't say it any better than this.

Congratulations on your buck! The antler necklace with Gunner's ashes is cool. Way to take him with you. What a tragedy. I pray your family can heal from such a loss.

Many tears were shed and prayers were said at our house during Gunners ordeal. Aaron that is so cool for Dakota to take such a great buck. I will share this story with Beth.

Well I know that little guy is smiling big all the time now, just like he was in that picture. I'm sure that he is really proud of his Dad for his great deer. Im sure he shared in the excitement. Very happy that you were able to have such a successful hunt.

Having not only lost a son myself but one who rode bulls with Dakota for a time , this hits very close to home for me. I cant say enough good about Dakota , Amanda and the entire family. I'm happy for the deer you harvested and your family has been in our prayers since the onset. God Bless......

Life is full of perspective. I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Gunner. Having children of my own the thought of what their family must have gone though is quite simply unimaginable. The great outdoors are a great way to find clarity and I hope his hunt brought him at least a little comfort. Congratulations Dakota on an amazing buck. And what a great idea to find a way to bring your son with you. Thoughts and prayers to your family.....thank you for sharing this with all of us.
