RAM Report post Posted November 5, 2013 Now before I'm told Im in the wrong forum, I know where I am. I was hoping to spark an on-going thing of people sharing there December bucks from the past (Field or Mounted) to get the blood flowing.... I have another December tag this year and am getting excited!!!!!! Here is my buck from the 2012 Late December hunt. This buck is my biggest to date and I now have him in my trophy room where I can re-live that hunt for years to come. My close friend Josh White CEO of (Desert Edge Taxidermy) mounted this buck for me and I must say I was very happy. In the beginning he and I sat down and picked through several diffrent forms but nothing looked how I wanted it too. Well, Josh being the guy he is gave his humble opinion of what form he thought might work. Once it arrived, he did his thing by cutting, molding and shaping it into how I wanted it. He and I tweeked the mount into a table pedistal which allowed me to bolt the buck to a table I built. I think he did a great job and I couldn't be happier. I love the detail and passion he puts into his work. You can see how those qualities really shows in his mounts, Thanks again Josh. I have seen a couple and think he did a very nice job!! I am still waiting to draw that late Dec. tag.....still no luck!! Keep the pictures coming!! gotcoues Report post Posted November 6, 2013 Dec tag from 09' Unit 29 Only Dec tag I've been able to draw. We hunted pretty hard and this guy was the biggest after 4 days of glassing. We were in the mid 40s for a buck count when my buddy Harvey glassed this guy up. We moved in for a better look and the rest is history.
