AZBearhunter Report post Posted November 3, 2013 This year I had over 2,000 mountain lion pictures combined on several of my cameras. Many lions LOVE this spot and frequent it almost on a daily bases. Napping is an ordinary thing I see in my pictures. Ill be sitting here in 2014 with a lion tag in my pocket. I just added more pictures! Enjoy.

AZBearhunter Report post Posted November 3, 2013 Forget about 2014, get out there now if you have not filled a 2013 lion tag and get that rug going! I would, but I filled my 2013 tag in March. I think in several of my spots, I can kill a lion every year from now on.
mr.smith Report post Posted November 3, 2013 Looks like a scent post. Maybe a big female and two older cubs. Cats can become obsessive and euphoric over certain scents.

AZBearhunter Report post Posted November 4, 2013 No wonder you ain't seeing any deer. Sweet pics! Actually, I have found through the years that the areas were I have found the most lions are the areas with the most deer. The lions are there for a reason, and that reason is food. If there wasn't enough food, they would move on.
AZBearhunter Report post Posted November 4, 2013 Awesome pictures, how many different lions do you have frequenting this spot? I counted somewhere around 5 lions that were coming in to this spot and an occasional Tom. It doesn't sound like a lot, however, within a 1 mile radius it is a lot. I had other locations with an equal amount of activity and many larger Toms passing through due to the amount of females hanging around.
