bbd1234 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 I'm looking to get a pair of cold weather boot that would work in below freezing temps. I'm going after some whitetails in January. Let me know what you have and use or what you would recommend. Thank you for your help
Elkaddict Report post Posted November 3, 2013 I got one of the cabelas brand w/thinsolate and gore tex. About$125 or so. Best boots I've ever had for cold wet conditions. Wish I had them 30 years ago on the Dec. whitetail hunts!
PRDATR Report post Posted November 3, 2013 My cold weather boots are a pair of Rocky Corn Stalkers I bought a long time ago and have had them resoled once. To me "cold weather" means snow on the ground and all day freezing temps. I bought them because they were available in 4E. EW, which is maybe 2E isn't quite enough for me. Equally important are good socks. I wear Smart Wool. They keep your feet warm and don't get matted down even when wet.
