parrita58 Report post Posted November 1, 2013 I went out Thursday the day of Halloween to help my brother and law and some of his friends for there mule deer tag. Woke up early this morning had some breakfast burritos and off we went at around 530am. We got to our vantage point and before you know it I had does feeding up a ridge in my binos. We waited them out and around 8am we decided to move to our second spot because sol we saw where does. We got there and 200+yrds in front 2 bucks where on the move. We lost them when they went down a canyon. We put a plan together and we went after them we chased them for the next 2 hrs until one of them presented a shot at about 265yards and my brother in law dropped him in his tracks with a spine shot. The buck didn't move a inch from where he was shot at. I'm really happy to had helped in my brother in laws hunt being that his last buck was 4 years ago. Now that buck fever is running thru my vaines after this morning's hunt I have to wait until November 29th for my Coues hunt. That's my brother in law in the picture...
