FOGGER Report post Posted October 31, 2013 Does anyone have a 300wsm modified case for a hornady OAL gauge that they want to sell or would let me borrow? I can't find one locally or online. Any ideas?
azgutpile Report post Posted October 31, 2013 Drill and tap one yourself. I use a 19/64 drill and the tap is 5/16" -36NS.

IA Born Report post Posted October 31, 2013 Where do you live? Pretty sure I have one because I load for my brother-in-law's .300 WSM. I'll have to double check, but if you are in or near Flagstaff (or at least passing through), you can come borrow it.
AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted October 31, 2013 I have both a .300 WSM modified case and taps. I suggest treading your own fire formed case. The benefit to this is you won't have to calculate the difference in headspace between a bought (saami spec.) Modified case and the headspace of a fire formed case. That's just my .02 calculating the difference can works just as well. I'm in east mesa. Let me know if I can help.
punxsutawn Report post Posted November 12, 2013 I looked all over for the tap and ended up going to Grainger. I bought it cash telling them a po had to be greater than $50 for the company I worked for.. They let me get it that way. Otherwise, I'm sure you can find it on line. If I remember, shipping cost as much as the tap!
