IA Born Report post Posted October 31, 2013 I've been working up a load for my daughter's 7mm-08 using 140 gr Barnes TTSX. I'd have to get the exact data, but I know that the 95% max load of R15 produced a 3-shot .60" group. I think the 97% max load of RL15 is better, but the trigger on her Savage Axis youth is horrible. I'm pretty sure I pulled the 3rd shot of what would have been a sub-0.5" 3-shot group because the trigger is something like 5 lbs! I'm happy to get you the data I have if you want. Blade Report post Posted November 7, 2013 I have three loads I use for 7mm-08, 139 gr hornady sst using varget, 150 gr Sierra bthp match using h4350 and 160 gr Sierra game king using varget. Blade Report post Posted November 18, 2013 Fired a few rounds out of the savage 7mm-08 yesterday. 150gr siera match king 46.5 gr of H4350 seated .002 off the lands at 3.273 as measured from the ogive with the hornady bullet comparator. 3 shots on a 1/2" square inch target.
