longbowpilot Report post Posted October 29, 2013 So I'm guessing this jaguar sighting in the Santa Ritas was this summer. I wonder what impact just one of these guys has on the deer herd in that area. http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/06/28/rare-jaguar-sighting-in-arizonas-santa-rita-mountains/
Yuma Archer Report post Posted October 30, 2013 One week, one every couple weeks Idk, but that is a very cool animal. Glad to see him alive in the states.
GRONG Report post Posted October 30, 2013 That awesome chunk of cat probably eats very little deer. But I'd guess it eats a lot of javvies and skunks. I could be way off but I'd guess a jaguar would be a little slower than a mountain lion because of their build. But they're probably opportunistic animals like most all predators. DesertBull Report post Posted October 30, 2013 I bet ya it eats a lot of poodles and Shitzus
mc68 Report post Posted October 30, 2013 I just hope the anti's don't use these sightings as a tool to shut the Santa Ritas down because they are now "critical habitat" for it...
rugermack Report post Posted October 31, 2013 Not critical enough, G&F is siding with Rosemont now. All Rosemont had to do was offer them money. Funny how that works.

Just goes to show everybody has a price.
