pcbucks Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Im new to the forum. Curious if anyone has hunted in 35A near parker canyon lake last weekend? Been hunting that area Sunnyside & Scotia Canyons for a years, but havent been down there since the fires this past year. Illegal traffic in that area has increased so much the two years, so along with the fires- hard to know what to expect. Anyone been down in that area recently? mulie hunter Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Hunted there last weekend. Area around parker canyon lake was hunted hard, heard of a couple bucks taken there. Sunnyside also had alot of hunters. Deer were staying in the bottoms, holding tight in the cover. Good luck.
pcbucks Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Thanks. Is the grass pretty high down there. Heard lot of rain this summer.......makes it even more difficult to see em. Group of 5 with tags so at least we can work together if there not moving on there own.

AZRDHD Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Grass is high and a lot of thistles to get in your socks and clothes so wear something that they can't get caught in. I have a fleece jacket and I'm still pulling them out. Otherwise its a nice location to hunt in.
