young-coueshunter Report post Posted October 26, 2013 I was lucky enough to take another opening day buck. I glassed this deer from about 1000 yards and tried to cut the distance but got busted at about 600 yards. So over the ridge they went and I followed except I took a little different way over as they did. As I reached the top pretty winded, the deer I was after pops out and runs full speed he ended up slowing down at about 275 yards I took 2 shots and missed and hit him on the third.
