CouesWhitetail Report post Posted October 25, 2013 I use mine with national geo topo, but it works differently than other GPS's I have used with National Geo TOPO! It stores each day's waypoints in a separate gpx file. that file can be imported into topo. But it doesn't download all way points at once like my old garmin, instead you have to download all the gpx files for each day and then open them individually. Hunting GPS maps works great on this unit, that's what I put onto my GPS and I love that map. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

maximus Report post Posted October 25, 2013 i used to have the same, does not work well with national geographic but if you the buy garmin topo southwest that includes arizona, new mexico, colorado and nevada and download basecamp from garmin website you can mark sll the waypoints, routes tracks on your pc and then tranfert to the unit. is great.
