AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted October 24, 2013 I think I will be picking up a GoPro this week for my Iowa archery deer hunt that is the first week of Nov. I'm looking for any tips or tricks from you guys that use them while hunting. It will be tree stand hunting. Should I mount the camera to the bow? Or would a head mount work better. any advice would help. Thanks,
CouesPursuit Report post Posted October 24, 2013 I have a side mount set up on my bow and I sharpied brown and green patches on the clear/shiny case for camo. I got some great footage of some deer last year but didn't even get any when I actually shot one this year. That's my problem anyhow, when I'm in the heat of the moment for both deer and ducks, I never bother turning the dang thing on!
backwoodsjeeper Report post Posted October 24, 2013 I used a chest mount and fully adjusted it as high as it can go and also had one mounted on the tree next to me, with both cams you should be able to get a good clip made out. Download the gopro software for you computer youll be able to make an awsome clip!
