rclouse79 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 I have hunted an area for the past 6 years during January archery season. I usually sit up high and glass which has allowed me to figure out where the deer are, but I havn't been able to get close enough. I was thinking about setting up a ground blind in a good spot this year. I am shooting rage broadheads right now and really don't want to switch so that I can shoot through mesh. Does anybody have reccomendations on a good blind for one person that has mesh windows that are easy to remove quietly? Thanks.

Scooter Report post Posted October 23, 2013 The best advice I can give you is to make a good sized slat (one cut top to bottom and then stretch it a little with your hands) in your mesh to shoot through. That way you can keep some mesh around the outsides of the windows for concealment but when you need to shoot there's a good 5-6" slot to sneak the arrow through. Wear all-black shirt, mask and gloves and they won't be able to pick you out. Other than that, if you watch the pros on TV, none of them use the mesh windows anyway...
