The biggest problem is finding descent block ice. We use to go to the crystal ice house located at Park ave where it crossed the railroad tracks. We would buy a 100 pound block of solid ice for $4.00. It would slide into a 100 qt cooler and last a week down in Mexico. The ice house closed about 20 years ago. Mostly what you find now is this compressed chip ice formed into a block by Reddy Ice "aka Shiddy Ice".

I can order pelican brand coolers. I have never used them before, but I just looked and I can get them. if there is enough interest I will see what I can do.
