CouesUnlimited Report post Posted October 30, 2006 We had seen this deer in velvet while scouting so we decided to go after him on opening day. We left early that friday and we got there well before sunlight. We found him pretty quick, then he bedded down. We put the stock on him and got 286 yards away. But we didn't have a shot so we had to wait for him to move and we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes and finally he stood up and we shot him. I give all the glory to GOD and thank HIM for everything. They actually cross each other here is another pic.

daryl_s Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Congratulations on an awesome buck!!! I love the uniqueness of the main beams crossing over each other. Another example of hard preseason scouting paying off.
