High Point Outfitters Report post Posted January 15, 2014 We like units 10 and 5B. We have the most confidence in these two units to kill 82+” goats every year. We went 4 for 4 in unit 10 last year on bucks over 82” with the highest scoring buck going just over 85”. We also killed an 82+ goat in 5B as well last year you can see all of these buck on our website. Another buck on our website is Steve’s buck that came from unit 9 two years ago that scored officially 92 2/8”. The problem with unit 9 is that it can be hit or miss and goats are hard to find in the trees. It is hard to have someone burn 20+ points on a tag that you could struggle getting a good goat out of. You can get you multiple chances at 80+” goats. Just HPO’s two cents. The video link below is a buck that was killed last year in unit 10 by Bobby Beeman former host of the TV show Best of the West. Check out this buck that scored just over 85”. He passed two bucks that would have scored better but he liked the look of this buck.
