duxngeez Report post Posted October 14, 2013 Katie drew her first elk tag this year and worked hard preparing for the hunt. All of the shooting practice came in handy when she finally was able to get an elk into her crosshairs. She made a great 150 yd shot and had her first elk on the ground. She hunted really hard and I could not be more proud of her great attitude and willingness to keep at it until she got it done.
