My savage model 12 varmint and savage axis both have 12 twist barrels and I can shoot the 69 grain match king into 3/4" groups at 200 yards and they stabilize fine out to 800 yards with 35.5 grains of reloader 17 and 3300 fps. With that said the new 53 grain Vmax has a b.c. of .290 and can be launched over 3700 fps with the same accuracy and 36 grains of IMR 4064. Bigger may not be better but it all depends on what you are wanting to do and the twist rate of your rifle.

I used the 50 NBT from my 22-250 for predators and it worked wonderfully. Used the same bullet from my AR to kill a javelina. Worked well for the pig, but I would not use it for deer. I would use a Partition (http://www.cabelas.com/product/Nosler-reg-Partition-reg-Caliber-Diameter-Bullets-Per/751596.uts)

The Barnes TSX (http://www.cabelas.com/product/Nosler-reg-Partition-reg-Caliber-Diameter-Bullets-Per/751596.uts)

Or the new 64 grain Bonded from Nosler.... From my understanding, this bullet is an Accubond with out the polymer tip.

In my Model 788 I have used 50 to 55 gr bullets on Varmints and Javelina and Federal Premium factory loads with the 55gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw's for Mule Deer Doe's out to 200 yards with great results. Before shooting big calibers at very long ranges became all the rage the 22-250 was a very very popular caliber for Coues Deer.

Like I said above, I'd not use either for game larger then javelina, ESPECIALLY Vmax, thats a varmint bullet.

i have a remington 700 vssf. i would not use either of those. either the ones first coues mentioned or additionally the 60 balisitic tip or the 63 grain sierra semiptd. the 60 grain partition would be my first choice.

The 65 grain game king would be my deer bullet.

You have a 14" twist with that Sendero...

Do you reload? If not, I'd find some factory 50 or 55 TTSX and rock on...

If you reload, you have a few additional options.
