muledeerarea33? Report post Posted October 10, 2013 My ridge view tripod starting slipping on one leg, so bad I taped it so it wouldn't slip anymore. Then one day I closed that leg in the truck door! I called vortex yesterday at 5pm and left a message. Now their website says 3year warranty on tripods and I'm not sure if I bought it 3 or 4 years ago? The lady on The phone was very nice when she returned my call at 7am today. I'm being sent a new leg free of charge, no questions asked.
