Snapshot Report post Posted October 9, 2013 How about why people that live in a high rise condo 3000 miles away and have never even hiked a man made trail should not be managing a western forest? Comments like that will get you audited by the IRS.
mattys281 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 What I'm dealing with this year, access. Private property in the tens of acres that's blocking around 500,000 acres of forest land. Azgfd ranch access guy said they indeed messes up and never got easement access. I'm relying on private owners to gain access to hunt the forest lands. Very secluded and it's nice that its basically untouched but the effort it's taken to get permission is unreal. +1 on that. I always thought it was crap that people can by a lot that has an access road to NF lands running through it, then put up a gate & lock it. It should be illegal to bar public access to public land. If a person doesn't like the traffic then don't buy the lot with the road through it.
