DEERSLAM Report post Posted November 1, 2006 Good deal Casey, I'm happy for you. Sounds like your on your way. Still, take some of the positives and negatives from this thread and use them to your advantage
COOSEFAN Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Casey just keep doing what your doing and your gonna do fine. Every guide has had their first client and thats a fact . You've got to start somewhere even just to find out if it's actually what you want to be doing. Good job and good luck. ditto Congrats on your first guide job! Every guide out there has had there "first", and hunting is just that "hunting"! It's not shooting or killing! The key words you said about your hunt is "we all had a blast"! The main thing on any hunt is to have fun and make it as enjoyable as possible for the client in all aspects. And as DEERSLAM said, take all the advice you gained here, and use it to your advantage, you'll do fine! JIM>
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Jim, thats all that matters to me! we had a great time. my hunter was new to coues and he learned alot from my self, Rick Bin, Enrique and Darren. we had a great time, got to try out some not on the market, protype glass and compare my Zeiss, to swarovskis, minox. it was a great time. one of the most enjoyable hunts i have ever been on and nothing more than a coyote was killed.
