Not the best pictures, used my phone. Happy with how they turned out I was really excited to get this guy back! 123456 Report post Posted October 26, 2013 Blue wing teal are very, very hard to shoot in AZ when they are full plumage. Lots during early season, but they are usually the first to leave. Good luck in your quest. I have yet to shoot a full plumed Blue wing teal. Oh I am sure it won't be too easy but it will eventually happen.. I've talked to a few guys who have seen them around late season, and I shot a drake on the last day, so there have to be a couple around! Hopefully it doesn't take me too long.
