BeardownAZ Report post Posted October 8, 2013 Obama and the Dem's are enjoying every minute of the shutdown, while Obama's liberal media cheerleaders are sticking it to the GOP. Imagine that! Except for the Politicians themselves, I hate to see anyone without a paycheck. But for those of you who work for big brother, don't rely on him, and don't ever turn your back. He will screw you. This was a opportunity for the GOP to force Obama to deal on Obamacare. This will be the only chance we will have to do something about it. Obama could have given the people a one year delay just like he did with unions and business. But Obama doesn't want anyone else playing in his sandbox. Especially with mid terms approaching. The GOP needs to go on a Media campaign about this, just as Obama does. Point the finger in the right direction, instead of letting Obama push the blame on everyone else. The GOP is too soft, and full of too many moderates that side with the Dem's. If the Dem's won't deal, the GOP needs to draw the line in the sand, and not cross it. Leave the debt ceiling alone. We are up to our ears in Obama debt disaster. I hate to see it go this route but the American people voted for these idiots, and there going to have to suffer through what they voted for to realize what they have caused. Its just to bad the rest of us have to be right besides them as it happens. I myself am already feeling it working for IOUs. In a year from now, when Obamacare is a disaster, the Democrats will have to own it, but right now the only thing happening is the Republicans are taking the full brunt of the shutdown and handing the left a silver platter by not allowing it to go into effect. This is Obamas signature item and legacy. Hes not going to cave on this, so make him eat every bit of it and conservatives can sweep the elections next year when its a mess. Until then, we are stuck with this like it or not. Self destruct isnt a way of leadership for either side. Dont think cause you are private sector that this wont catch up with you eventually. Its gonna screw us all.

Take care, Willie Alot of that is true but a society cant function entirely without a government. Private sector also has alot of corruption and bogus dealings. Theres a balance between both and what roles they play. Government in limited amounts and entirely accountable to the people is how it should be, supposed to be.
