Josh_86er Report post Posted September 25, 2013 I'm looking for some help with my 35A hunt from November 29th-december 8. It's only my second year of hunting here in AZ and also my first time in 35A. Any helpful hints, areas or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
My Rights As An American Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Welcome to the site. First place to look for information is always going to the Arizona Game and Fish game management unit information. This will get you started on places to start researching through maps and going out to check out first hand. Good luck!

bigorange Report post Posted September 26, 2013 Search the threads on here too. There have been some decent discussions about that unit with some good general starting areas. Can't search just 35a due to character minimum so scroll down through the rifle hunting section. You'll find it.
az_shooter Report post Posted September 26, 2013 Game & Fish always have good information on their website. It will give you a good idea on where to start looking and you can always improvise from there, good unit in my opinion, have hunted that unit since I was a kid, pm me if you have any specific questions. Scooter Report post Posted September 26, 2013 your location says SV and you don't know where the deer are??? Gotta get out there sometime soon and drive/walk around- they're everywhere... You'll see them, just put in the time to find them.
PRDATR Report post Posted September 27, 2013 Welcome to CWT, I have not hunted 35A so I can't be of much help but here is the link to the hunt unit on the G&F website. I would call G&F and ask to speak with the Game Warden for that unit. He will be able to give you some info on the area and they are usually pretty helpful. I would also get out every chance you get to scout and find a place to camp. With quail season just around the corner that would be a good opportunity to go out and familiarize yourself with the terrain also. Don't be afraid to stop in and talk to other hunters during the early hunt to see what they have to say. http://www.azgfd.gov/h_f/hunting_units_35a.shtml
