Recommended Posts

Hey guys and gals

I am looking to buy a new tripod to glass with my binos

Just want a nice great all around tripod, collapsed size, expanded size weight and priced reasonable

Thanks for the advice

I have and love my tripod.

It's high enough for me to glass standing up even with a Jim White head.

It's lightweight and pretty stable with my Duovids.

You can find it in the CWT.com store:

I wish Chef but that tripod with the Jim white head is a little out of my price range!

guess never to late to save for that awesome set up!!

I use the Culmann Magnesit 519 and it does me pretty good. I have tried a couple others in the sub $150 range and keep coming back to this one.

I have the promaster as well. I absolutely love it. Hands down the best tripod i have used. This past weekend up north and the wind was whipping. And the tripod held up great. I use the outdoorsmans panhead on top.

Can you find these at a local store? I never looked into these. They seem good but I like to see them and check them out vs looking at a picture.
