Kama480 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 My son was drawn for the Jr hunt in unit 22. I have a little experience in the 4 peaks area but wanted to get some advice from people who know the area well as this is his first hunt and would love for him to have a success full hunt. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

JLW Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Whitetail or Muley? MadMax I think its coues. He posted in that sectioin if it is the youth hunt it is any antlered deer..... you will find both in abundance in that unit. what species will you be targeting? looks like there are 101 tags. should be a hoot compared to the general hunt! elkaholic Report post Posted September 27, 2013 +1 on the youth deer camp for 23 but 22 is right across the highway and they have also helped those in need for unit 22---- great times they provide food and assistance and also the fun of being around a group of other hunters - like 3 miles in on the unit 23 side of pumkin center - the G&F officer for the area / units will also be around to help out - lots of people donate time make sure its a successful event its worth asking! Jcubed Report post Posted September 27, 2013 I have heard onky good things about that youth camp. A birdie was saying they had more help and deer found than hunters with tags!

Flatlander Report post Posted October 24, 2013 />How is doll baby ranch for whitetail, good, bad, ugly? Not a lot of density but some good bucks. Probably not the first place I would look.
