BigGameHunter Report post Posted September 24, 2013 It's that time of year, where I have a tag for an unit I didn't originally plan on getting. This year, it happens to be 34B. I have been out 3 weeks in a row but have failed to get into what I feel is a good area for whitetail. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I am not looking for your favorite spot (unless you are feeling super generous) - just vicinity. Right now, after 3 trips I have become a master at finding antelope, desert turtles, rattlesnakes, and prairie dogs. Again, any help is appreciated. Good luck to all those that are drawn. Bisbee Report post Posted September 24, 2013 Really in 34B whitetail are found clear down to the Cienaga creek/wash. I used to hunt mulies there but they are just about gone replaced by whitetail.
Scooter Report post Posted September 24, 2013 Yeah, in 34B I've literally seen whitetail all over the place as far as terrain and elevation go... and Big GameHunter, if you saw prarie dogs I have a good idea where you were and that's not where you wanna hunt, as there will be eleventy billion dudes hunting that area and no bucks when your season arrives.
